About Missionary Cenacle Volunteers
Missionary Cenacle Volunteers is the volunteer program sponsored by the Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity (a community of Catholic sisters). MCV primarily coordinates short-term missions for individuals and groups throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. Each Summer MCV offers short-term opportunities for individuals, including the Family Life Develpoment Program at Trinita. In Spring MCV typically coordinates week-long mission trips for college and parish groups. Occassionally, MCV places individuals in long-term mission.
Our Mission is to help Catholics become Apostles by growing spiritually through volunteer mission work.
Summer Mission at Trinita (2-6 weeks:June 23-Aug 4)

Application period: January - May, 2013
Serve children and families at this Catholic summer mission in Connecticut! The summer program is coordinated by our sisters who live and work year-round at Trinita Retreat Center in New Hartford, Connecticut. Trinita is a camp-like setting of over 100 acres of fields and woodlands in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains. A typical day at Trinita includes family sharing time, peer group time, arts and crafts, swimming, hiking and more!
Trinita's summer program serves inner-city families who come for a week-long stay. Each week is structured with faith, fun and family activities. The community at Trinita is very diverse, and many of the families are bilingual, speaking Spanish and English.Volunteers are needed to assist with every aspect of this summer mission.
Missionary Cenacle Volunteers accepts applications (from men and women, young and old, single and married) to serve at this life-giving, rural mission this summer. As with all MCV summer missions, you must be 18 years or older to apply. Volunteers are responsible for their own flight arrangements and travel costs. There are no other fees for participation in our program, and you are provided with meals and housing during your time of service.
