Long Term Volunteering
MCV accepts applications and places volunteers in Long-Term Mission on a rolling basis. You must be at least 21 years old to apply. The typical commitment is for one year of full-time volunteer mission service. This online application is the beginning of a more thorough process of getting to know applicants and prayerfully discerning a service placement for them. It is not a sign of your commitment to our program, so please feel free to complete it at any time.
MCV has connections to mission sites all over the continental US, as well as in Puerto Rico and Mexico. The type of work varies greatly. Living arrangements also vary by site. Often volunteers live in community with Priests, Brothers or Sisters of the Missionary Cenacle Family. Click here to read about our current long-term volunteers!
During mission service, long-term Missionary Cenacle Volunteers are provided with room and board, a modest personal stipend and reimbursement of health insurance premium costs. The only explicit financial commitment for the volunteer is the travel expenses to and from the mission site.
